Senior Purchasing Consultant

In developing procurement strategies that support the clients` business objectives, you help global organizations driving changes in their supply chains, opening up their information-sharing and looking at how they can change the interface, how they can change processes to take out time and take out inefficiency and cost.
Other subject matters in which you will make a significant impact with your expertise include management of commodity risks, Asia sourcing, supply chain management, customer-supplier relationship development and management. You assist in developing follow-up with suppliers and sourcing teams, conduct analysis and support benefits estimation and documentation.
Your goal with each client and on each project is to build the clients` capabilities until they are ready to achieve their organizations' most ambitious goals.

Key criteria:
- Very good academic qualification - University degree
- A minimum of 3 years professional experience in procurement
- Demonstrate a mature attitude towards team working in a pressured environment
- Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
- Fluent in German and fluent in English
- Ability to travel 4-5 days a week
- Strong communication skills and ability to enthuse and convince others
- Very good social skills, ability to communicate on board level, good presentation skills
- Self-starting and self-motivating personality
- Proficient understanding of internet technology
